The best strat for the Voltorb game is to not flip any cards in a row where the number of points + Voltorbs equals 5. For example, 2 Voltorb and 3 points. Easy peasy!

I never understood why some people complained about Voltorb Flip. It was ridiculously easy once you figured out how the game works and has next to no chance, unlike roulette or slots. *SOOOO* much faster and easier to get coins! One of the many reasons why HG/SS is the best remake and arguably the best game in the series.

You may be interested in the fact that the gamecube Pokemon games have a randomizer. Rather colleseum does. It's for Mac only though, so you would need a Mac VM.

Modding your 3ds and randomizing the gen 6/7 games is super easy as long as you have version 11.3 or older of the hardware. If you have 11.4 or newer you either need to have dsiware games installed, or you have to physically modify your 3ds
