Hello and welcome to more of my Pokemon Scarlet playthrough on Nintendo Switch! With a big school session behind us, it's time to get back into the open world and try to catch that dang Magnemite!

The "aiai" in its name kind of has a double meaning, because not only is it a monkey sound, but an aye-aye is a type of lemur with a long middle finger, which is Grafaiai's main source of inspiration.

Uki- (ウキー) or ukiki is actually the typical Japanese onomatopoeia for monkey cries, so I think it's really just the aye-aye as opposed to what Scykoh said

A quick way to check if you've caught something or not is to use the lock-on button (L or zL, forget which at the moment) which you hold down then when you move the camera over a nearby Pokémon (has to be fairly close) it will show you its name, level, and the appropriate extra icon if you've caught one or not. ;)

You can get a Alolan pokemon from one of the teachers (i think its the history one) if you go the classes and talk with them outside of it

I caught an Azurill and nicknamed her “Float” for that reason. Became an Azumarill and was the highest level Pokémon on my team.

X-Scissor doesn't have a high crit chance, though through its similarity in concept with moves like Cross Poison and Cross Chop, I think it should. It then wouldn't be completely outclassed by Leech Life as well.

Picard's Log Day 21: YO! Today is going to be another incredible day! I can just feel it! ^_^ Let's get things started, shall we? We started things off today by getting into a Tera battle against a Shroomish! ^_^ Then we caught a wild Shuppet that Scykoh proceeded to name it Shuppee. Scykoh then caught a wild Grimer that he named Pooper. #NotSoCreative Scykoh then caught a wild Magnemite that he named it Magnebutt... Scykoh then attempted to catch a wild Cyclizar but it fainted instead. However, as a result of that battle, Fiona underwent her own metamorphosis! ^_^ She transformed into a Grafaiai! ^_^ That being said, on his second attempt at catching a wild Cyclizar, Scykoh succeeded! YAY! ^_^ Scykoh then got into a Tera battle against a Swablu that he quickly defeated, and caught it. ^_^ Then we found the TM for Light Screen while exploring! ^_^ Scykoh then caught a wild Drednaw! ^_^ Then we found the TM for Psychic Terrain while exploring! ^_^ Then Scykoh got into a battle against a Student named Beatriz who sent out her Alomomola. Scykoh responded by letting Fiona play with this palindromic Pokémon! ^_^ Then Scykoh got into a battle against a Cabbie named Omar who sent out his Varoom so Scykoh responded by letting Necali play with this engineering enigma. ^_^ Scykoh then caught a wild Basculin! ^_^ Then he got into a battle against a Student named Lina who sent out her Cubchoo so Scykoh let Craftee play with this frosty foe. Scykoh then got into a battle against a Backpacker named Arturo who sent out his Sandile so Scykoh decided to let Craftee continue to grow. ^_^ As a reward for defeating 8 Trainers in the area, Scykoh was given the TM for Stomping Tantrum! ^_^ What will happen tomorrow? ^_^

Before i forget, you should think about replacing Craftee. Its one of the weakest pokemon in the whole game
