I remember reading some forums of someone playing a pokemon emerald randomizer nuzlocke. He showed some pictures of his starters. There was a Registeel and he chose it. It only knew selfdestruct. That really sucks.

ThePunkPhantom Pro tip: have more than one Pokemon capable of fighting during a Gym battle. If he leveled up Grimer a bit more it might have ended differently.

3 years later, but in case more people see this. First, I think we see he's not a GREAT pokemon player. He uses wrong attacks against wrong types often-ish. But most important, Nuzlocke randomizes EVERYTHING. Including moves. So you can see a fire pokemon using Fire Blast against your grass type. He actually had a few of those, so... sometimes you just can't help it.

NOOOOOOOO Scykoh you have to keep moves random, just set it so that it is random(completely), not random(prefer same type). That is why Groudon had 4 ground moves and Manectric had 4 electric moves.

Just for the record, when you randomized your game you set the attacks randomizer to prefer same type, so you should have expected most pokemon to have one stab attack... like when you used Dankey against a flying type and Notapenis2 and Regice against a rock type.

tormentor91 Well, Dankey was just a bad choice (although Clebable couldn't handle it anyways so I think it didn't matter) but Notapenis2 and Regice I was trying to catch those Pokemon, my only option was basically not try to catch them :(

I tried this a ton of times (like 18). Once I had a butterfree, and then my rival shows up with a moltres. Other times I had no attacking moves, only false swipe, and I decided that this challenge is nearly impossible with random movesets

I just tried out my very first randomizer. I got geodude, a bagon and some other pokemon as a started. my first encounter was an aggron which I couldn't damage, because of my randomized moves and my second encounter was an ekans with dragon rage... fun times xD
