In my first playthrough of soulsilver back when it came out, youngster Joey never called me. Not once. It was a miracle That copy of soulsilver also seems to have a weird saving bug where the first time the save just doesn’t work sometimes so I have to save at least twice

nah, its totally legit. one of the special edition ones that came with a lugia figure/pokewalker. i believe i preordered it thru gamestop so I know its real. i also have a special edition copy of heartgold w/a pokewalker and figure i bought at the same time and it has no issues. if i remember correctly i only ever had one time where i lost progress from a save, but after that i was extra careful and have had no problems. you know how gen 4 games have the "saving a lot of data" thing? when i save, it skips that message the first save (the ones that don't seem to properly save) then if i save again i get the "saving a lot of data" message and everything is fine. its a bit odd edit: i should note that i never really extensively tested this, i just had a problem once and was overly careful from then on out. its been a while since ive played that cartridge so maybe I should do some experimenting... could be that i have a bad memory tbqh

Well there is transpiration, which is when plans get to hot and water evaporates from the plant (if I am remembering biology right) which is kinda like plant sweat and helps make clouds and helps the ocean and rivers from evaporating (plus with bigger bodies of water being helping as well) So plants kinda have an ability to sweat.

Funny thing is I noticed the bicycle pronunciation curiosity many many years ago, before watching any of your videos. I actually thought you were doing it as a joke XD. I think bicycle is pronounced the way it is because the same sounds are next to each other, as in "bi-" and "cy-" would make the same vowel sound of "eye". So then "cycle" has a changed pronunciation of "sickle" to fix the repeating vowel sounds. I just made this up off the top of my head, but it sounds convincing to me.
