Hey since you are my fav mouse reviewer i wanted to ask you what claw/aggressive claw mice can you recommend me? my fav shape is the cooler master mm712 but unfortunately its kinda outdated and has aweful side buttons? what mouse with a back hump can you recommend for aggresive claw?

@@Elcro100 Hey that means a lot! Fun story, first mouse I really liked was the Hati S Wireless which is somewhat similar in shape and recommended as a similar shape. I’ve found that the X2H mini, Scyrox V8 (back hump) and OP1 8k (narrow grip width, slightly less back on hump) are the best mice in that size range for claw/aggressive claw. One difference you’ll notice on those mice is that they’re a little more tapered down from back hump peak to the front of the mouse, but they’re my favorite.

@@Elcro100 Scyrox V6 wouldn’t be bad, more side taper but also more mid hump than back hump. Stays taller at the front.

@@dazztrazak does the scyrox v8 have a straight bottom? i noticed that some chinese mice have an uneven bottom which leads to terrible dot skate wear for some skate positions while others are like brand new

@ I had no issues with an uneven bottom on it and didn’t hear about it from anyone else either. Mad R was a different story 🙂

I have some decently bad side flex and signs of potential creaking on mine. The shape also is pretty awkward overall and has the same sort of issues with every Lamzu shape where they aim a little too small (OG Maya, Paro being a mini ergo) and the mouse shape feels like it wasnt designed with physical hand testing (Atlantis having an awkward width, side curve and hump). Also surprising that your V6 had worse skates than the v8. My V8 was super scratchy with stock skates while the V6 was much smoother.

@@kaeroseon Oh that’s really unfortunate about the build integrity issues! I think the shape commentary is solid evidence that it is a very subjective topic as both this and the Atlantis mini shape fit like a glove for me. May have a lot to do with how far forward/back you grip it where I have the mouse pulled into my palm, thumb offset half a button behind the rear side button and fingers slightly hanging off the front. Skate wise could come down to pad? The V8 skate construction did not impress me however the actual glide of the surface itself felt better for me 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@dazztrazak Yeah shape is subjective, but there's just some quirks about lamzu shapes that makes them feel not quite right. I grip a bit more forward and the sides of the Atlantis medium really digs into my hand and the V6 has a really awkward front flare for me. Build quality and click quality on Scyrox has been suspect for me as well. V6 has side flex while both the V8 and V6 has really long travel for the clicks that masks the tactility of the Omron opticals quite a bit.

@ I do think Lamzu’s shapes are polarizing. I want to say Boardzy is not often a fan for example but I’ve enjoyed almost all of their mice comfort wise. The Maya front flare was really jarring though with the smaller size. I’d be curious to see an original shake from Scyrox but I’d assume Lamzu will save that for their main brand.

@@dazztrazak Even Scyrox's shapes are eye balled recreation of other shapes, somewhat like the Atlantis was an eyeball recreation of the XM2. Wouldn't be surprised if the Atlantis was demoted to Scyrox tbh. Rocket Jump Ninja is also not a fan of Lamzu shapes, ranking the thorn lower than other ergos and the Atlantis worse than the XM2 and other claw shapes iirc or at least saying it was awkward. He constantly says they feel like they don't use human hands to test their shapes which I find both funny and somewhat true with how awkward some of their shapes are.

@ Yea I don’t disagree to be honest. I forgot RJN had that take as well. It makes me wonder if perhaps they try to be different with their shapes, which is admirable, but perhaps we’ve hashed out the shapes that are generally most acceptable or comfortable to the masses here by 2025 so in doing so some awkwardness creeps in. Feels like Zowie is probably offended by some of what Lamzu does 😂

I have the f1 extreme with good aftermarket skates but still want something thats is more stable for my gripstyle. I picked up my old 450 and feels good but forces into more agressive claw grip. Now I dont know if I buy the scyrox, xm2 8khz or going for MAD G.

@@cringekid69 Yea the F1 is a little short for my preferences hump wise. That’s a solid set of options there. The XM2 is most likely the best quality long term as EGG just kills it with quality. If you’ve never tried one before is a fair amount of side tapering and drop off from hump to the front of the mouse, but I do enjoy the shape myself. Honestly the Mad G/Maya X may be the safest shape of them all and one I particularly enjoy.

@@dazztrazak I own the xm2we but never got used to the clicks but this new version performace wise on paper is insane, I dont mind the cable in fact I like to not having to charge the mouse. So many bangers of these chinese mice its hard to decide before going broke xD

@@dazztrazak i got op1 8k i dont know why i ditch it for l7 ultra, i see the x1 ultimate is good, all atk geaars are good. how about the maya x or the a7 ultra?

@ Maya X was top 3 for me last year. Great safe shape IMO, amazing clicks. I do quite like the A7. Working on my gpx clone video now so more to come soon.
