Great coverage, one of the best Rapids turn videos we have on KZbin now for sure! All of these shots from both ground and drone are phenomenal, Cloquet looks so cool from above.

Can't get enough of those classic EMD SD40-2 diesel-electric locomotives. They're my favorite as real-life equipment and as HO brass models. 😊

Those engineers got some heavy hands on those throttles. They're booking it everywhere, even when pushing into the yard. "Never saw a notch 8 he didn't like"

If I may inquire, what time of day would these be going through let's say Cloquet, then Swan River, Warba, etc before arriving in Grand Rapids. Many of my elementary school years were spent in the area. I still call our families little (270 acre) farm in Blackberry home in my memories as well as Marble, Warba, Nashwauk, and Grand Rapids. Every chance I get, I make the journey to Warba to see my family (cemetery) and I have had horrible luck seeing any trains on the line following Highway 2 from Duluth to Grand Rapids. My grandfather worked this line as a GN/ then BN employee in the 60's and 70's and I would love to see a BNSF train of any length going through my 3 grade crossings in Blackberry where I used to wave at my grandpa in his caboose as he went by. Any information you are willing to share would be appreciated, I love your channel. I live in the Twin Cities and I love seeing on video all of the trains in my area I miss due to travel for work.
@SD4575008 ай бұрын
Happy to help how I can, and thank you for the kind words! This train doesn't run on the weekends, currently. They typically get moving out of Superior between 1:30 to 3:30pm, with Mondays usually being later due to a larger train. If they don't have work at Carlton, they'll be at Cloquet about 45 minutes after leaving Superior. It seems like they take about 20 to 45 minutes to work Cloquet, and get moving west after that. Late afternoon/early evening would be your best bet to see the west of Cloquet. Here is some video in Blackberry, and Warba with a plow! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHmleYiojpmHo6M
