SD40-2s! Two SD40-2 units rush a ballast train west of Ingolf on Friday afternoon, June 7th, 2024.

It is always nice to see the old SD40-2s working hard in 2024. Once as common as the ES44AC/DC EVOs are now, they are now getting rare as the big class 1 railways retire and sell them to smaller companies. Some of CPRAIL's SD40-2 locomotives are hard at work in Brazil 🇧🇷!
The time was 2:50 p.m.
power was SD40-2 5989 in the new paint and SD40-2 5996 in the action red paint with no multi mark.

This train ended up hitting a pedestrian at Concordia ave around 5:30 that day
