This augmented reality and rendered synthetic 3D vision around a 3D model of the car on this beautyful huge screen is so impressive this car truly deserves a port and starboard position light - because every other space ship too has! Finally a car that is worthy for the year 2023 that does not hold back with computers and augmented vision and whatnot. Only a FLIR to spot deers at night from 500 feet away is missing in the overall package.

Not sure if you still need this information, but the sound is phenomenal. I am so impressed by the audio in this car. Not sure about which light by night you mean, so I can't answer that.

to me it seems there is a lot of empty black space in between the 2 screens and even on top of the digital odometer, like the vertical height of both displays aren't the same its kind of odd to me is it just me?

Excellent review on the multimedia system. It is a pitty you did not give any comments on the audio system. I notice the car has the "Harman/Kardon Surround Sound System". Would you recommend to have this system installed (as it is not the standard system in the car) ? It is not really cheap (over 600 €), so is it worth it? Thanks for your comment.

Hey I have it on my company car (previous version of the X1) and it's really great, I wouldn't go without it since I always drive with music. Basses are heavy, sound quality is great. I ordered the new X1 through my company (due for December 2023), and I also put it as an option :)

That looks hideous, way over complicated. I would rather a more conventional operating system within the cab with buttons. I was going to buy one but not anymore. Trucks are going the same way, while you are faffing around with your on screen controls, you are not properly looking at the road.
