Honestly, between more bugs, and the DLC on the same day... It's an insult, honestly... They don't care anymore. They really don't... I was considering buying it again after the refund after a few patches, but updates aside, they made it VERY clear what they actually care about with that DLC. This game is a MONTH old with TWO DLC's... No matter how you paint that, that's not good

@@jeremy_logan Because it launched broken and clearly unfinished, WITH a DLC out the same day, then a month later, their BIG bugfix barely fixed anything, and they prioritized the release of a SECOND DLC, which contained 5 Rides, which were DEFINITELY something that should have been added for free as an apology to the community they are actively ignoring and alienating in favour of the money instead. This game is a cash grab, plain and simple.

Tested water removal on my PC version of the game: created a new pond and was able to delete it several times. Saved the park and quit the game, restarted and was still able to delete it. I went back to an existing park with water and was able to delete it also. Not sure what the issue is with your water but my 'thought' is the water ride is somehow making the game focus on it rather than the water around it? Maybe try deleting the water ride, then see if you can delete the water (saving before you try, of course). I think a path over the water would be cool - you could extend the path off into small sections that served as scenic viewpoints or photo opportunities (which would benefit weddings being held at the resort). Since I discovered your channel I have been hooked and look forward to your new videos! I love your creativity and detail and "thank you" for keeping up with Wilderness Springs! Here in Pennsylvania we have two indoor water park resorts (Great Wolf Lodge and Kalahari) if you need some inspiration. Okay, stopping my 2¢ now ...

I'm a huge fan Of Frontier. I was so exited. I was one of those guys who tried to shut up all the bad reviews, but man has that changed. I'm getting really dissapointed in Frontier. The remembering colors was only done half, still so many bugs. And the game started crashing since update 1.1 I don't know what's going on in Frontier. But I have the feeling, it's not good.

My entire game has gone crazy! I cant open rides with load and unload stations,I cant remove water, the animations of the riders are resetting back to the waiting for the ride to start animation. Im not upset just disappointed

i’m glad i’m not the only one with this bug, i also found that the auto complete button on coasters and the smoothing slider does not work for me. i’m just so sick of frontier at this point i think they need to make some changes or at least give us a response the feedback

Wanna start off by saying, as a pigeon forge native your project hits so close to home and is absolutely gorgeous! One of my favorite parks i have ever seen in the plan co series! Now onto my biggest issue. The most serious bug i have noticed now that has been infuriating, after 300 hours of playing now my game keeps crashing when moving into certain lighting conditions inside my dark rides. Happened to me 6 times in one day after the update, we definitely need another hotfix bad for stability. Before this update the only thing that crashed my game was workshop getting opened. Crashing constantly and losing progress is the biggest motivation killer, it crashes my obs also every time this happens which makes recording videos or streaming the game hard now.

It definitely is hard to believe that the team at frontier is going in a different kind of unusual direction with planet coaster 2. It’s like there’s a whole new team there and they took the original game and just added water parks. I don’t understand why they went this direction. It’s too bad that Park studio. The game stopped developing. I believe that would’ve been planet coaster 2 predecessor. Anyway, thanks for sharing hopefully things get better with this game. Be safe until next time George.

@@ThisSideUp12 I never heard of Park Studio, so I looked it up. As of Dec. 6, 2024, he said that the project is on hold for now, but hopes to release sometime next year.

Some people on a server im in have the same issue with water, but they've shown pics where it's glitched out and the park is flooded pretty deep :/ then they can't remove it Also, I feel like with the DLC, it should have been "here's a free update to play with whilst we fix the game"

I'm relatively happy with what we have right now. The update was a substantial improvement to the game and makes building a lot easier. However I believe dropping dlc was a mistake. They should have waited till their next update or christmas. I'm thankful it's a ride pack tho,I haven't spent nearly enough time with the scenery yet.

I got it because I wanted the new rides, but agree that it is something that should have been beefed up more, had some Christmas things in it and released for free. It’s a little much to be charging people for things as the issues are still being sorted out. Especially when people are having new issues with this update. Thankfully I haven’t seen anything new yet and instead have seen stuff fixed but not mentioned like the crazy fast spinning of the fighter squadron flat ride with the airplanes. That drove me crazy.

hey, i personally don't have this problem but what you can do is re download the pre update version of planet coaster 2, just search up a youtube tutorial on how to do that, and then just remove the water and download the current version.

Frame generation helps alot with the lag but it does cause stuttering in larger parks

Not that its a fix but have you tried to adjust the terrain to ground level as a work around to deleting the water? Just a suggestion as i have been in japan since thanksgiving away from my computer.

can’t believe wilderness springs is almost wrapping up.. i’ve absolutely loved the progress on this park. sad to see so many bugs that may be getting in the way of the builds :( hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

Did you try opening the terrain tool, going to the water tab, then right clicking on the water?

I've definitely enjoyed watching you work on this. Honestly I've been watching your videos while I've been at work as my background comfort noise. It's been so fun to watch everything come together. I am inspired to work on something myself, and I loved your video where you did say how much you've played these types of games and not to get discouraged if you don't know how to do everything yet. I tested the water in a few saves and I was able to delete the water. Not sure why it won't work in your map. Have you tried uploading it to the workshop and saving it from there to see if a "new" file allows you to delete it?

There is something to be said to be forced to be creative with limitations. I think you definitely finish the raft ride and then if forced to deal with the water, expand the water and make a boardwalk style pier across it. some of my favorite parts of Disney involve pathing/piers across water.

the x button that closes the window for the item im placing does nothing so I have to press the scenery brush or demolish tool to leave the menu

My bet is that even the devs weren't aware of this DLC drop. During development there would have been a team exclusively focusing on building rides, as launch approached there'd be meetings to discuss what rides would be in the base game, which ones weren't ready yet, and which would make more sense being in a DLC pack. Marekting had actual final say on what got released when.

Only bug I've run into so far has been I can't set staff breaks myself anymore. So, if I want to change it from one to time to another, i end up with a staff member who has zero breaks scheduled and I have to fire them and hire a new staffer and just hope they have a good break time.

I tested the delete water and it work. Im in a park i started AFTER the update. Probably all old parks are dead but if you start a new park you gonna have no problem . The only bug i got is that the x button at top right corner of building window do nothing. Right click will close the window anyway. Start a new park and test the same bugs you got !

The two coasters are pretty good, but the three flat rides were rather blah. Also the DLC needed more stuff. The team(s) can not be doing DLC's like that Ever Again. Please Be Sure To Do Better! 🙂

I like the crazy stand up flat ride. I like that it’s small too. The others eh..nice to have I guess. I do like the spiral whirlpool look on one of them. 🌀 The star for me is the extreme spinning coaster. I have been building the heck out of that one. Funny because I have never ridden one in real life and don’t ride spinning things anymore. 😂

I just booted up your latest Workshop version of Wilderness Springs to test (which doesn't have the raft ride yet), and I am able to delete all bodies of water in the park *except* that river you pointed out. I also deleted the coaster and all nearby trees and scenery, and tried to flatten the terrain around it, but that specific body of water still won't delete, or allow any other changes except to _add_ water. So yeah, definitely something Frontier should look at. But I can confirm it's not because of the raft ride.

@@Sdanwolf Thanks! After further testing across multiple maps, I found something with this glitch that's notable. I spent some time digging random holes and filling them with water. Most of the holes I made allowed me to remove their water, but the game would not allow me to remove water from holes that touched the park border. For some reason with any hole I made that roughly came into any sort of contact with the park border, once I filled it with water, the water in that hole became locked in place. While the water glitch was easy to recreate in this manner, it still didn't explain how your river did the same, since there is a gap between your river and the park border & I wasn't able to recreate the glitch with that condition. But it could be tied together considering the nature of the glitch.

I think theres a way in the settings you can turn it so that all guests show up in normal clothes… it sounds kinda weird but i think i can remember changing it when i was exploring the settings.

For me when choosing a build object, changing colors does not keep the same colorscheme when selecting difrent objects from that same theme, they said in a video they would fix this but it does not work...

Rapids are my favourite attraction in real fide. It's a shame they look wird in this game (like the log flumes). Hopefully they are updated soon too.

The double wide log flume seems normal to meet, but the other one seems off. What seems off to you?

@caseycb79 the water texture, how the boats move (all straight without bouncing) and the fact that we can't change the angle of the falls. I've been to many log flumes with steeper falls.

Issue I’m having is with the staff scheduling. When I go into assign staff to a zone when I select the zone it shows none, even though they are assigned. Also it would be great if you could change zone assignments from the individual staff info windows instead of having to do multiple clicks through the large staff spreadsheet.

I thought it was a me problem but it happened also to me and it was so irritating. In the end I decided to make a blueprint of the whole park and move to another save... Then there I could make and delete new bodies of water. I hope they can fix it so I don't have to make again all the terraforming :( So annoying.

YOU CAN DELETE WATER OTHER THAN UNDO!!!! delete water by going to “demolish” and turn everything off besides “lakes” it will then delete when you click on the water, it will not highlight the water however. I had the same issue until I realized that’s how frontier wants it done in this new game.

Can you change the water type? Maybe if you can turn it into a different water type it will let you delete it. Also- i think it would be cool if you have a path that goes under bear mountain and loop back to the path connecting to the manor plaza so there’s 2 ways to access the area

Have you tried using the demolition tool and selecting “lakes” ? That’s how I first learned to delete water.

Just checked in one of my sandbox parks and I had no issue deleting water (pre-existing or new) and no problem adding it back. Loaded up the most recent version of Wilderness Springs and no issues there, either.

My absolute biggest issue was for sure fixed. The janitors actually clean Now. Insane how dirty my park was before haha. Mechanics still need to get to stuff faster but oh well. I haven’t noticed any other bugs yet

I found that water is not removable if there is a submerged ride in it. Try deleting the ride and then deleting the water. Then replace ride afterwards if you can..

On console you have to see demolition tool to get rid of old water. Then terrain to flatten it

This is probably the best park I’ve seen on pc2 so far. Did you try just raising the terrain to remove the water ? Or will that mess up too many other areas 🤷🏻

Wonderful video as always Sdan! Did you ever get the station built for your mone train, I dont recall seeing it in this video. The views from the path of Grizzly Peak look fantastic!!! I cant believe you're almost done with this park! Now, for the update and DLC. I still see issues from the original in this new version. Supports on some water rodes show up in the flume track still. Im having issues with dual stations. They either dont work, or I cant test because the timing of the testing between vehicles stops the ride from fully testing because more than one car get ro the special track causing a crash. I wish testing would happen in the same timing as when the ride was open. I did have a coaster bult and it passed testing, but when I opened it, the cars just sat at their block brake points and never moved, yet the queue was full. Only after closing out the game and reopening it did it work. You mentioned sending in bug reports for these types of issues, how dows one do that cause Id love to send these in to help make it better. Now, the DLC, i personally dont see it worth the money. I think the focus should be on fixing the game first. Give it a few months to work the kinks out and THEN sell us a DLC. It was poor timing and poor taste in my opinion. Woth all that said though, Im having a blast with this game and hope the issues can get fixed.

Oh, also wanted to say, maybe try doing a wooden open-air themed queue for Grizzly Peak like at DCA. It'll stick with the park them, but allow the leak to be more visible.

I had the people not wanting to ride the waterslides issue, but outside of that it has been only graphical glitches for me. I have had only one single crash in about 46 hours of playtime since the game launched. About 4 of those hours have been ran under the new update. Thankfully no crashes or anything really…knock on wood.

After the update my game keeps crashing after one or two minutes of playing. I'm frustrated and don't know what to do. I love the game itself, but now I can't even play it. On another note, I love this channel. Your builds are amazing.

Yes! I would say so. I have a laptop 4060 with only 16gb ram and it runs fine. I can even load Wilderness Springs. 😀

@ It’s not an ideal situation, but you can play it on a Mac using Geforce Now to stream it. That’s how I used to play Planco 1 before I got my Windows laptop. There would be pixelation issues from time to time subject to the variability of the internet, but it was good enough as a temporary solution.

Bodies of water of a certain size cannot be deleted after the update, I did some testing with some smaller lakes, and had no issues, but larger bodies, would not delete.

Haha I actually do but the Timelapse makes it quick enough where it doesn’t show the rotation but… I will say there’s something weird about PC2 trees.. even when you rotate them they keep their same appearance

I think Frontier is in pretty bad shape financially that they can't afford to give out DLC for free. They could be months away from closing the doors at this point.
