Great testing mate,very informative with a good variety of machine,love the no response on crap from the E1500

Interesting tests. What is your consensus? Do you think the E1500 is a good machine for those stepping up from VLF to PI machines?

Yep, it's a great jump from a VLF especially in mineralized or hot rock soils.

@phrunt thanks! do you think it's worth spending more to get a second hand 5000 or new 6000? Being a hobbiest just not sure where I should head next.

The important thing is that the places where the detectors are tested should be mineralized underground. It is an undeniable fact known by professional detector users that open air tests are completely misleading. Like the comparison tests of the detectors made in the KZbin video below. I think there should be a comparison test with Minelab detectors in order to see the performance of the Algoforce e1500 in its fullest.
