Technically playing it on hard would have been more of a challenge. If you 100% the song on hard, you're score usually ends up ~450-500k depending on where you used star power. Where as playing it on expert, if you 100% the song you end up ~600-650k. Giving you more room for error, to hit the 400k mark. So, way more pressure not to miss notes on Hard, then on Expert.
