What a wasted opportunity to ask Ed Boon about things we don't know. We know Shang Tsung will be the bonus character for preordering, we know Omniman and Homelander will be dlc etc, did you not watch the trailers? It's like this interviewer knows nothing about the game yet he gets to talk to Ed Boon. There were so many opportunities to talk more about Scorpion in this interview, specifically about his new identity, a topic many fans are eager to learn more about. Ed Boon says that Scorpion and Sub-Zero are brothers now. Since Bi Han is currently Sub Zero, Kuai Liang would be the new Scorpion. What an opportunity to ask the main man himself about this controversial decision and his thoughts on it. Scorpion is his favourite character, would have been great to hear his take on it and what it means for Hanzo Hasashi. You could've talked about the new gameplay mechanics and game modes. Will there be a classic mode with no kameos? Will there be character gear customisations like in MK11? Will there be something similar to the towers of time? What's happening with the Krypt? Will we get guest characters from other video games again like we did with Kratos in MK9? Will we get babalities? Friendships? Hara kiris? Please get interviewers that have more interest in the topic they are interviewing about! You guys are literally asking the wrong questions, question we already have the answer to. Pointless questions makes a pointless interview!

Over fourty percent of fans voted for the house of horror legends pack back in February of this year poll was done by Ed Boon himself my question is are the horror legends pack coming in mk1 with the gameplay and graphics in this game they would look awesome save the comic book characters for injustice 3 and have a video game character theme in one of the Kombat packs then again I would like to see Antiheroes vs horror legends video game characters and mk characters in one game that sounds 🔥 never been done before that would make history

Me as an old MK fan have a mixed feelings about MK1. Ed says its a whole new beginning, but in that case if NRS wanted to do this, then they could start with completely new game, new legacy and new characters entirely in my opinion. Studio is well known and they would achieve great success with whatever they do, their games are like no others and graphic design tops off any other fighting games in the market, team is great and they have best developers, but now some old fans like me are a bit upset about quite some few story changing decisions that NRS did. Why would you swipe out something that had a good backstory and deep roots from some of the first MK games? Midway era had great games that brings up nostalgia to story intricacies and they pretty much tied up with NRS era games. Its a great Lore, but now everything is different? They could continue story as is and change details later on, but now its a fresh start, for new players who are not familiar with the lore, I agree its not bad, but for old players like me, who actually didn't had the chance to play older games, however I am familiar with them, wish that I could, cause I feel like I missed some great moments and parts that MK did offer at the time. It's just that.. it's a bit upsetting. And I know a lot of fans feel the same. Its like.. almost as if they changed MK fan base, from old trustworthy players and fans to newcomers, because kids who play games today has born around 2007 and they probably have no clue about older establishments, Its a marketing decision and very obvious at the same time.

They couldn't really do anything else after that hence the reset. Also the story is only a piece of the pie. People don't play MK for the story. It is a huge plus but not the main focus. The gameplay is the meat and potatoes of the game.

The new version looks, sounds and acts like a truck driver based on what's shown. Btw str8 hair is not exclusive to white women. MK is inspired by the Asian cultures mostly so I'd assume that's why Tanya's hair has been always straight. But hey, any excuse to hate on white people is good I guess 🤣 I don't mind Tanya having black hair but not that absolutely awful ridiculous hairstyle they've given her now.

@@myvirtualtoyz7338 I call it 'white women' hair because throughout the early 2000's many Black women took to emulating popular white hair styles of the time and before then as well, instead of wearing out their hair in a more natural/free style. And Outworld to me has always had an African desert-type slight Arabic mix, so it makes sense they're going for a more refined juxtaposition to the old outworld. Much was the purpose of Wakanda in the Marvel comics, completely swapping the preconceived notion many had about Africa. It all feels very earned in my opinion.
