Great interview. Bummed to miss the announcement for last weekend. Even more bummed the August Con will be only 45 miles from me but when I’m on family vacation. 😭 Thanks to you both.

Sorry to hear that, but you'll make it next time. Remember there will be an online con in June too.

I think it was briefly mentioned about recording the sessions, but if they could be recorded and somehow made available to watch later, that would be amazing. I would enjoy all the sessions (panels, discussions, demos, and learn to plays), but I think recording the learn to plays and demos could be really beneficial to the community. Speaking as someone new to wargaming, sometimes the learn to play videos are limited. Having these sessions would be great for those who couldn't attend.

I agree, I believe the team always tries to record a few session and share them on their channel.

It's mainly a figures show but the Leeds (Fiasco) show is at the Royal Armories and is worth a visit. A possibility perhaps?

Definitely something to explore!

I'd love to see a European branch of SDHistcon on the mainland. Seems there are some small things in the UK, but with that not being part of the EU that is trickier and perhaps less appealing as European spot. Then again, might just be that the UK also has the most people who would be interested in such a thing. Doing it in a big city seems to clash with wanting to get a venue that is affordable though. PS: Liberty or Death might be my favorite one.

Honestly I think that doing it in a smaller, historically relevant, city might be better. The venue and staying there will be a LOT cheaper. And it might not make things too complex to get there.
