For this video, I tried a more production-heavy approach to the arrangement. Every sound originated from my voice/mouth, but I employed a liberal amount of "studio magic" to shape the mix into what you hear. The main disadvantage of this approach is that the resulting arrangement is hardly performable in real life; i.e., I do not have sheet music for the arrangement, and even if I did, you'd be hard pressed to find a group that could perform it.
In case you're wondering, yes, you are hearing more parts than you are seeing. My mix ended up containing nearly 100 tracks, and it simply wasn't possible to cover all the parts in the video. If you have specific questions about how I made some of these sounds, feel free to ask via comment, and I'll try to answer!

@metallicafan979 Not really. Sometimes I try to let my shirt color help distinguish among sections or parts, but mostly the shirts represent organizations with which I have been involved. And every now and then, I am able to use the different colors to create an interesting visual composition.

@okbutdontdrown The "bright hook" is the same pattern as the normal hook (heard in the intro and throughout), but it is sung on a bright "ah" vowel. It kind of sounds like an alarm clock. A strange, singing alarm clock.

Mike does use autotune to make all sounds absolutely tight. and the singing parts also. but hey... 99% of all music released nowadays is autotuned/corrected in some way. If i'm honest this guy has a better singing voice. but Mike is more " talented" in mixing and making the music pop out!

Very well done, harmony's were right on and all the instruments were good. Just one thing, work on balancing out parts if you want to make it sound professional, or more like the real thing. (eg; Hi Hat quieter, and kick louder with more mph to it also it would work without the vibrato on the leads.) But overall you are very talented, keep up the good work.
