That is a prosperity gospel message that Jesus never preached. In fact Jesus said just the opposite about His true followers. Jesus said His true followers will be persecuted for their faith in Him. Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake John 15:18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. Also, don’t be fooled by those who tell you that you must do works or certain things in order to be saved. that is a false message and takes the focus off of Christ and what He did for you. Galatians 2:21 “I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" Works come from the Holy Spirit after we trust and put our faith in Jesus. Faith comes before works, not the other way around. If anyone’s message to you is focused on anything but Christ, that is someone that I would question and be skeptical about. Someone telling you to keep certain rules/rituals/commandment in order to be saved is adding to the work that Christ did for you and is a false teaching. Christ is sufficient and nothing should be added for our salvation. Christ is enough 2Corinthians 12:9 “my grace is sufficient for you” Colossians 2:10 “and in Him you have been made complete”
