Very impressed how well the paint sticks to a non primed surface. Do you know what kind of paint the markers are? acrylic? lacquer? Also after you painted the sword, does the paint get completely scratched off when you put it back in the sheathe?

Yes it easily covered the surfaces even not primed. Still, priming the kit will give you better result. It just that i can easily remove error strokes to the unprimed surface like this project. For the marker its an alcohol base of paint. Well for the unprimed projects better not to touch them frequently for 2 days with that curing phase the sword part is less to have scratches😊

Nice tutorial… may you provide estimation time on these? After 1st coat, how long did you wait for 2nd coating After 2nd coat, how did you wait to remove/erase the excesses using household alcohol? How long (days) would it take for complete dryness? Since there are some parts with more than 1 color, do you suggest to do the whole process per color? I don’t mind the wait, gusto pulido though 1st time gagamit ng direct marker painting

@@arianatang7326 pinaka crucial dyan kung first time user, usually madaming lagpas pero ok lang madali naman burahin. 1-2 days pwede naman sya matapos para sa isang sd unit. Pinaka trick sa multi color, hanapin mo muna yung mga complex area and yun unahin mo. The reason is madali mo pa sya mareretouch kasi wala ka pa applicator sa susunod na kulay mo. Drying time, i think 3 days no touch goods na yan. Still, matapos mo man project mo, hindi sya recommended ay frequently touched. Good naman yung paint wag lang ppwersahin magagas. Practice the coating para di ka mag result for overcoat. Yun lang salamat. Yung can check my other vids sa small scale.

I'm considering buying the markers and I would like to know if I choose to use primer how I can remove the marker paint without damaging the plastic and the primer(surface)

First check the primer if its completely dried up. Then if you made error you pa damp the qtips lightly.

A small dip of denatured alcohol will do.

You need to do a single stroke in one direction only. Do the side strokes for flat surfaces😊

Yes you can, though there's a downside here, if ever you got an error line, erasing it is the problem here, it might compromised the area painted with dspiae

I'm sorry, I'm using the translator to ask this question. When the paint dries, if you run your finger over it, does it come off? If I don't use primer the paint won't fix?

Yes, most likely if you apply it directly you need to dry it for long time around 1 or 2 days. still, theres no guarantee that the paint wont worn-out. Much better if you apply primer to the kit before using the marker. It will give you better paint result, and as per the video you can touch it directly with this method😊

Kung walang primer, house alcohol will do, pero kung primed, it depeds sa primer, check mo kung need na gamitan ng high level alcohol😊

Hi po newbie lng po . Gusto ko pong kulayan yung gundam ko. Ask lng po sana ako . Step by step po sana. Okay lng ba na gumamit ako ng primer white khit di kuna sina sand yung plastic then mag apply na ako ng marker? O pwde rin na e marker kuna kahit diko po sina sand and primer? Then pagkatpos ko po na ma paint dun naba ako mag aaply ng clear top coat?? Paki reply po . Thanks. :)

Welcome to the club! Kung wala ka balak isand yung surface, make sure na malinis and dry sya before you prime it. Yung primed surface will give you good grip nung marker and mabilis matuyo (may nagawa akong vid ako for that). On the other hand, pwede din rekta apply yung nga lang matagal matuyo, medyo messy sa umpisa and needa multi coats. In short matagal curing time at tiis wag mahawakan. Still applying top coat after full cure is highly recommended.😊
