It's HALO mixed with standard space engineers, mainly because the Railguns in the base game only have a 2km range, ricochet and do very little damage. Can't have a rail gun based ship when the rail fund are useless.

Spent 5 days out in the Northern woods of Ontario Canada. Re watched the first season while camping and what do I find 3 hours from home the new episode of the second season. So finally home and all settled and have watched the new episode. You guys have out done yourself yet again. I have only one other group that I have watched a series on SE was that is Captain Shack ( XPGAMER) and now you guys and gals. You all rock. You will forever have my support. Much love and respect from Northern Ontario, Canada. ( The lowest it got at camp was -39 Celsius) at least the videos helped keep our minds off of the cold thank you for that Captain. depends on the episode, this being the season intro; it's mostly scripted (though the later half represented real, no-scripted events that were played out on the discord: the negotiation part) Most of the rest of the episodes are near fully RP/not scripted

@@GetBrocked It's a radio thing? I do screenwriting and we use the same thing. A [break] is used when there's a pause in dialogue, is never spoken out, and is typically used to add tension or meaning to whatever was said or what follows after. If it was used differently here, then I can see that. But typically when someone speaks out a "break" that intrudes the nature of the dialogue, then it's assumed to be a mistake on the speakers behalf, lol Regardless, awesome series :))

The break thing is actually for frequency hopping and opsec purposes. If a transmission goes on continuously for too long, and can be tracked, but to "break" the transmission actually allows for the radio to hop to another frequency or something to avoid this. Idk all the details, it's something to do with radio crypto and frequency hopping. All I had to do in my time was load the freq, call for a comms guy to load the crypto, then press the button to transmit. But this was how it was explained to me by the comms goons.

This seems to largely be on account of the CDF. Call it a hunch, but it would appear the CDF desires retribution for the part the Eternity and her crew played in keeping the Ryders in the game and destroying the battleship they'd spent the entire season manufacturing in secret. Admiral Omni may well have made concessions to isolate the Eternity in order to get the Coalition moving in a functional direction. Politics are brutal like that. It's hard to forgive and forget the losses that a 3rd party inflicts upon you by meddling in a closed conflict. Mallard probably wanted the Eternity to be destroyed or hunted to depletion. The Ryders pushing the Eternity out of the picture seems a compromise to that end for the sake of the coalition.

@@conormccue2871 Don't forget the bigger picture. The Eternity wants to reestablish a link with Earth so the EFN will be in charge in the future, with or without a bloody war for control. The EFN has shielded 6th gen ships, even after everything the EFN has gone through in this universe, they still probably have a huge advantage over the entire First fleet system, even if they all worked together. Admiral Omni put it in terms of being abandoned, you could also look at it as them just wanting to be in charge because they think they can look after the peoples interests and their own interests better that way.

You guys should do less 'infantry' episodes. The cast's plot armor is more obvious in them and it decreases the dramatic tension of any scenario to almost nothing. That said, it's cool you guys are introducing new stuff and the freeze-frame thing at 31:00 was neat.
