Soyoon's voice is so rich, I love it. I agree that this song has an awesome crooning, chill sound. Now i just have to go see what's being sung. Thnx for the intro/reaction. I already know Soyoon from her song Smoke Sprite and that she is a great musician.

After RM's collab with Soyoon, I fell down the Soyoon/Se So Neon rabbit hole so fast. She as a soloist and they as a band have almost a no skip discography, for me anyway. I'm pretty obsessed with her now. Lost it over Smoke Sprite, Go Back and Winter. Winter....man. My kids are probably so over Winter lol

As said by the other commenter, I also like their song "The Wave" & also recommend it. The link for the Tingground live studio performance is at ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpavgXxuna2Md9E . The English subtitle can be enabled as close as possible by turning on Korean CC & then auto-translate to English. If not, there are other live performances of this song, but I seem to like this one at this link because it seems like a cleaner sound. This band's music style & sound is considered neo-soul rock. I call it "Neon-Seoul", if you get my wordplay. I believe one of their/her influences is Prince (RIP).

Glad you listened to Se So Neon. Se So Neon is a trio led by singer/guitarist Hwang Soyoon with a couple different bassists & drummers. Her stuff is very diverse and I don't think you can appreciate what they're about without listening to multiple songs. My favorite song is Joke! which is roughly in the same bag as Primus so it's completely different than Nan Chun. They won a best rock song award for The Wave back in 2017 as well as a rookie of the year award that year. Their most viewed MV is Smoke Sprite because it features RM of BTS. I'd also recommend their live videos on their yt channel and other channels like Ting Ground cuz imo if you're a rock band you better tear it up live. I saw them in NY last year on their world tour and they killed it. Don't know how Soyoon plays her strat while doing a full body wave but it's cool to watch. Go see them if you ever get the chance. Fwiw, I only follow 3 k-rock bands - Se So Neon, Onewe, and Hyukoh. Imo Hyukoh is the gold standard among indie k-rockers and they're another band with a very diverse discography that's well worth checking out. Hyukoh and Onewe have been inactive while members have been doing their military service but I'm hoping they both release albums this year and go on tour. Got to see Hyukoh at a club in Philly pre-pandemic and they were terrific. Hard to recommend just one song to start with - would you rather hear the Joy Division-esque Wanli or one of their Beatles influenced songs like Tomboy or Love Ya?
