I have never seen seven and I’m so glad I waited for the 4K release. It was definitely the best way for me to experience this amazingly well made movie. I was a huge fan of the Batman and I noticed that it took a lot of inspiration from seven so I’m so happy the movie turned out amazingly and the 4K transfer is fantastic 👍

I'm a huge David Fincher fan. If you haven't, try checking out some of his other movies. He makes good movies.

Went to see the anniversary release in Imax,my first time seeing it in theaters, and it felt like I was seeing it for the first time. That gut wrenching feeling near the end was present despite knowing how it ends.

I’ll answer my own question. Watched the Digibook Blu-ray today. The picture and sound are both outstanding. Even if the 4K is a little better, certainly not worth the upgrade at the asking price , wait till it drops below $20.

Turn that PB 4000 display off during the movie! That would drive me up a wall

Despite blacking out everything I like the display on. I actually turned it off for awhile and turned it back on. I have my quirks.

So is it worth getting if you own the Blu-ray Digibook?

Its been a while. And, I don't recall the blu-ray. But, Fincher worked on this release directly. He mentioned making a number of changes, cleaning it up, rendering the 4K from an 8K scan. Based on his comments, the restoration team put in the work to make this as good as possible and in line with his vision. For all his and the restoration team's efforts, this should be the best it will look.

I just watched it! good restoration. I'm happy with my steelbook. Don't like the packaging in the Digibook.
