Lots of work on this one over the last few months. Rebuilt jet pumps, compression tested engines, repair electrical issues, oxidation removal. Finally got it on the water and it ran great albeit an absolute gas pig!

Had one from new out of the London boat show year's ago! Loved every minute of it. Used on the see off of the Isle of Wight out of Bembridge harbour. Travelled across the Solent to the main land many times. Hope you have as much fun as I did 🙏 Forget to say 360 spins were my speciality 😊

We are absolutely enjoying it although it has some starting and acceleration off of idle issues. Time to go through the carbs.

@restoroosterohv I ended up working at the Isle of Wight Seadoo dealer for 6 years and yes, carburettors were always a bit of a problem, especially as they were used in the sea. Good luck for the future 🙏

It’s funny you posted this. I was looking at the same boat a week ago, it was in great condition. The guy who had only took it out 2 times, he said it was to rough on the water and he preferred his pontoon boat. He was selling it for $1500. Wish I would have bought it now

The 717 is the best non rave valve motor seado ever made. They are nearly indestructible!

@@restoroosterohv just make sure you change out the oil lines. Usually it’s the lines that break not the oil pump itself. And also for future reference check out Osd marine. They have tons of parts

I have some under the sink but haven’t yet had a chance to try it. I feel pretty confident it will work.
