I've always owned a Kawasaki. They keep it simple, easy to work on, reliable, and still use fiberglass on their hauls.

First off, love your videos on buying boats. I have a 2020 Yamaha FXSVHO. I bought it right before lockdown and have used it to go fishing and cruising around Tampa Bay. I purchased the 3 year maintenance package the dealership offered. It’s now 4+ years of ownership and no issues with the Yamaha whatsoever. I’m due for the annual service which the dealership charges $450. Pretty reasonable I think. Keep putting more videos on boats, I love them and currently on the market for an affordable center console.

Many hours this year far offshore and rode confidently and mostly dry on a Seadoo. Take care of them and they'll last 10 plus years.

Hi great video I do have a question , I am looking to start a rental business for salt water where does the Kawasaki do against these 2? And which would you suggest for a business in rentals?

I have both , Sea-Doo is better all around. Dry ride if wanted, way more comfortable and personally i like close loop better. Yamaha more playful and still a fun ski, but the 300 hp Rotax is nasty.

the big big difference is the engine ...yamaha build the best engines in the world and rotax just build mediocre engines ...nothing compares and you can see it in the resale price yamaha value is double than seedoo

It's not double ya pine cone. Rotax engines are badass. You can't even get a proper oil pan on a Yamaha. There's a reason Sea-Doo is the market leader by far

rotax engines are bulletproof. airplanes would be falling out of the sky if they weren't. CanAm makes the best atv's - with Rotax engines.

If you want a bunch of add on useless options that break, buy a Seadoo. If you want basic and reliable, buy a Yamaha.

Historically Yamaha and Kawasaki totally dominated SeaDoo which were really junk, especially during the two stroke years however, being a lifelong Yamaha person, I have to admit that SeaDoo has far outpaced Yamaha for sure for quality and innovation although the Spark is still junk. I’ve owned three Waverunners and would definitely buy a SeaDoo next. It seem that Yamaha got lazy with design and SeaDoo jumped on them. I still think Yamaha has the better engines that were designed from day one as a marine engine and not a repurposed snowmobile or ATV engine. Taiga will wither on the vine and thankfully go away other than performing at sea world lol

Seadoo's motors are not repurposed. While the entry level spark shares a 900cc size motor it is different. All the other models are PWC motors only and don't share size or any thing with their sleds, atv or sxs motors. Even the 900 turbo's found in their sleds and sxs are different and not compatible with each other. They make great motors. My GTI and GTX 1503's have north of 1300 hours on them and my 900 turbo sled is at 29,000 miles and my 900 turbo SXS is at 23,000. All flawless miles/hours on everything.
