I bought a Sea Eagle Explorer 420x inflatable kayak! I used to have 2 Sevylor Colorado's some 15 years ago and enjoyed using them very much, but the kids grew up and moved away. I got away from floating rivers for a while, but now the wife is considering it and I miss it so. For the Boston valves, just use your fingertip to push down and turn 1/4. Once it pops out, no need for further turning. Reverse to seal again. Kudos for doing he floor first, in some folk's 380x/420x set-up videos the user inflates the hull before the floor, which just makes it harder to do the floor. Thanks for the useful video.

Great video. I have this same kayak. I’ve had it only a month now and have been working on getting familiar with everything. Glad to see your pump gage moves mine doesn’t change so I’ve had to wing it somewhat. I need to reach out to Sea Eagle for another issue so I might mention the issue with the hand pump. Happy paddling.

How easy does it paddle? Does the wind really push it off coarse easy? Thinking about putting a trolling motor and higher up fishing seat on one?

My pump has never worked either. I just go by feel. I still blow it up less than the automatic pump does
