Sea Fishing at The Knap in Barry - UK Shore Fishing.

In this video, I do a spot of sea fishing at Cold Knap in Barry, which is on the Welsh side of The Bristol Channel. This was a very tough session from start to finish but I am of the opinion that this venue fishes much better at night...that's my excuse anyway ha!

Don’t worry about the blank, I only watch you bebaust your the only UK fishing channel that offers me a wholesome, calming feeling. It’s like mediation.. the other guys catch Bette fish in general, but got nothing on you mate, keep up the good wirk !

Little tip for you gareth, to stop missing bites, off set your Aberdeens. Fish will hook themselves 99.2% of the time 😉

Ah yes I sometimes offset the hooks when I'm making the rigs up. I usually miss fish when I'm filming, often busy filming the surroundings etc and I see the bites late ha!

Yeah I was using squid, use it all the time. It was just one of those days and the fish weren't there, didn't see anything being caught 👍

Caster’s does like those pork pies. They must be big or you’ve got great eyes 👀. That sea state would be perfect for hounds on Holderness coast. You have done well with just one blank it’s a common occurrence for me. In fact can you get that sink back and post it to me as I could do with it 😃😃. All best with your channel always well edited, good tunes, and always happy. I struggle with that 😂😂😂.

Thanks Vern, appreciate the comments. Yeah I was due a blank as I've had some good sessions of late and so I can't complain really. You can often get Smoothounds at this mark but they can be patchy, especially during the daytime. I've been watching your channel for a few months now, the videos are always very watchable, I like the way in which you just talk and act normally, as it's relatable. I've got a spare kitchen sink in the garage, will send it your way ha! Cheers 👍👍
