Sorry Ben, ignore that last reply, I thought you were commenting on the St Brides video! Tide is a perfect size for the Usk tomorrow. Just park along Stephenson Street, just below the dogs home. Then walk towards the bridge, past the dogs home and take a left through the gate onto the coastal path. Don't fish too close to the bridge as can be a bit snaggy, walk at least 100 yards and the ground is much cleaner, just pick your spot. Good luck 👍👍

Hi bud I’ve recently moved to Cornwall I pretty much species LRF hunt I actually live 10 minutes from hayle so know the area I’ve never sea fished so was thinking of trying at lobbing some lures on the fist estuary mark what I’m interested in what time of year was it as looks pretty cold tight lines regards Dave

This was February time and it fished well, especially for bass. There was mackerel on lures but only Small ones. The estuary is a great spot although I haven’t tried it on lures. It’s a sandy bottom so if be inclined to drag a silver lure, maybe a dexter like wedge, just above the bottom. Do let me know how you get on. Tight lines

@@bengriffithsseaangling2138 hi just a update fished the estuary and had few knocks and one schoolie bass on a 5g metal just flicking along and a nasty weever fish but there were a lot of mullet as well but they’re not interested in the lures thanks for replying

Nice video the biggest problem with St, Ives area the seal 🦭 they will go for fish how do you reel them in. The best thing you can do is not cast out when seals are about.
