Nice venue and a snotty for Pete and a bonus bar of silver for his troubles. As you said they must have been small schoolies nibbling away I used to enjoy a bit of digging before fishing a couple of lb of worm would go a good session

Hi greg you ok mate, and pete. At least you had some action on your tips greg. Them blanks hurt more when you sit on your box for 6 hours and the tips are motionless all the way threw. I used to dig my own bait and enjoyed doing it . But in 2016 i slipped 2 discs at work on grimsby docks so i der'nt do out now what puts a strain on my back. Up here now the cheepest lug n rag is 18quid a pound , most places 20quid a lb. All the best mate from Grimsby.

It is so expensive buying bait all the time and the rewards are far from guaranteed. It does make me laugh when people tell me they catch 10 fish a session guaranteed 🤦😂🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

I fished fri and sat night in one of my spots in herne bay. I had 4 sizeable bass out biggest was 3lb 4oz. others were 3lb exactly 2lb 14oz and 2lb 8oz. Had loads of smaller ones. Also had a hound of 3lb 10oz been months since i had one of them.

@@gsp yes you should give it a go more. Just try ramdon spots. I fish a spot where you would not think to fish. I Seem to do alright there.
