@bassmansbountyfishing I’ve learnt a lot over the past year watching your videos (old & new) from Mullet fishing to beach fishing. I’m always curious to see your beach rigs & which baits you use to target species. Always watching, looking forward to the next video 👍🏻

There is a picture of this spot on Google showing about 6 Seaplanes lined up on the pier with their tails pointing towards Plymouth Breakwater. It looks like there were gaps in the seaward side wall for them to fit over so you may see new masonry in places. Also the rocks on both sides weren’t always there. So there may well have been a tunnel of two underneath probably nearer the start of the pier. Pretty sure Laurence of Arabia was stationed there so you may need to change your hat. Great video as always. Thanks.
@bassmansbountyfishing3 ай бұрын
Yes the history 😎👍 Btw there are 3 tunnels FACT! One clearly visible on google earth where the rocks finish up the end 😉

@@bassmansbountyfishing Thanks Bassman. I didn’t know about the tunnels until you mentioned them. Wonder why they were there? I’d forgotten that the pier has only been available to the public since 1995! I went there years before with a mate who had a RAF pass. Caught nothing. Nice easy mark to fish. Looked on Google Earth, I see where you mean. Agree with jack John’s, I used to love night fishing as a kid. Best part was getting my Tilly to start. Still got two of them in my garage! Thanks for the videos!

Gear always looks good new, wonder what it would have looked like after holding an eel or 2 🤣 Do they still do the occasional access on the breakwater, got to be some monster eels off there. Good watch that, thanks.

How come you don’t snip off the mackerel tail? Doesn’t it make it spin and spin in the current?

Best knot for rig body to lead clip? One which doesn't damage the line too much when tightening.

@@bassmansbountyfishing Yes but what knot do you prefer using when tying the rig body to the lead clip above the rotten bottom link?

I’m a fisherman myself and enjoy your vlogs, however I didn’t enjoy watching your mate drag the conger about on the pier. Normally you treat the fish that are caught with care, have a word.
@bassmansbountyfishing2 ай бұрын
I’m certainly not accountable to you or anyone for that matter, I will be dragging, heaving, hoisting, wrestling congers for the next 4 months maybe 5 There, I’ve had a word..
