Welcome back to another video!
So I was pretty excited for this session after hearing rumours of a 12lb cod being landed a couple of days before!! Unfortunately that fish didn’t fall to our rods on this session. It was actually pretty quiet in fact with only the 1 bass being landed.

Excellent weather m8 it looks like summer sunny but if the wind picks up well it's been ice here in the isle of man!! Ww2 Jacket comes out the closet this time of year lol

Might be 4 years away before a cod double figure turn up. Only got to get someone to say caught a double figure and then loads turn up to fish. I remember when 1995 when a 4lb plaice was caught at eastney went the next day for a drive about 30 fishing down there. But i surpose you got to give it ago. Nice video

We’ll I was the only person fishing down there so I started to wonder whether it was true or not as no photo evidence, just word of mouth! But there is a few smaller ones coming out down there

How come blueys are becoming illegal to sell? I've still got 4 in the freezer lucky. I'd call that a successful expedition with a lovely bass , always nice to get a few but that one is better than none, worst days fishing beats your best day working!!

Hi dangler. Me and my mate have fished sandy point quite a few times lately, great fishing thanks to your info. He’s dying of cancer and he’d be made up if we could meet up this year if you’re up for it. Let me know. We’d be buzzed to meet up with you and do a days fishing with you. Ah nice one buddy!! What have you been catching? I want to get back down there soon. Yeah that sounds good, I’m always up for a fish with new people, and if it would make your day it’s even better! Fishing is poor at the moment so might be better to leave it for a month or so or when the hounds come in at sandy point

Quite a lot of whiting, only small ones, quite a few dog fish. We went down there the other weekend but no luck. Yeah let’s definitely let the weather turn a bit and would be great to cast out with you 👍🏻 take care buddy and speak soon

Try black lug in darkness, bang a bait out left of the slipway.

Halfbeak is cheaper than bluey (Pacific Saury), that's why the stockists are gradually moving away from bluey.

I have just been down there for a check it out trip,ok if 2 of you fishing as could drop all your gear off by the beach and 1 go park tye car and walk back i guess

Blueys are going ! Not from hear anyhow ! Please can anyone tell me why you can't buy frozen pout for bait? I hear the bass boys on charter trips use small bream as bait! And would small bass work ! There is no mackerel, but there seems to be squid , bream , pout and bass in abundance! Thats what the larger predators must be feeding on ?

Baits r us do a lot of frozen fish, they may sell pout there I’m not sure. The bass are smashing the whiting at the moment, so always worth trying one if you catch one 🎣
