right on.... I have 2 of the housings. The same one you have and one for my a6400. The vacuum saved me one time, I had a silica pack stuck in the seam and the housing "appeared" to be closed all the way but the vacuum pump never turned to green. I researched a lot of housings and this one, even though it is much less expensive than others, it has never failed me, even in heavy surf. Great video.....

Hey man thanks for the vid, so I consulted the chart on Sea Frogs website didn;t see the Sigma 16mm 1.4 listed, does that mean it's fully out of the question for it to be compartible? it's a similar a little bit chunkier but same in lenght than the Sony 55 - 210 f4.5 which also wasn't on the chart. Thanks man.

homie, why are you not suposed to use that handle with that camera? i was about to buy it via amazone because of its price... it also looked good because you can vaccum it and use the handle

I do have to take the handle on and off every time I use the vacuum. Kind of annoying but not a big deal.

How's the build quality of the material? Is it a cheap plastic housing that feels like it can crack or is it think and can take some bumps?

Pretty solid plastic could probably take a hit to the sand, wouldn’t want it to hit a rock or anything.

Couldn't you just put threadlock on all the screws that don't need to spin? So if you don't use the pistol grip put some threadlock on the screw and the chance of it getting undone by accident are almost zero

super good idea, haven't had a problem with it since the one time it happened even without threadlock.
