I lived on the island year round for a while, I would wonder what it was like 150 years ago to stand on the beach and see a wrecked ship out on the shoals. Must have been a sight to see. Spooky.

Yes, that is a Sea Robin. They walk on the bottom using the claw-like fins.

I believe sally growlers is another name for toadfish

@mattmarsch7882 I haven't been near a toadfish in awhile, and don't remember if they make sounds like a sea Robin. There Is a themed clothing and tackle brand now dedicated to Toadfish preservation. Simply named Toadfish(#PutThemBack)🙂

Broke that inlet tuna fishing on the Doris Mae IV and The SEARCHER so many times I could pay cash for my own vessel… lol… crazy ! And now I realize I’ve been flounder fishing wrong my entire life!!’n shit ! !!!!! Nice man ✌🏻
