Sea Hag Shipwreck Barnegat NJ

SCUBA diving for seafood with Howard Rothweiler on his boat R/V Goat out of Barnegat Inlet New Jersey. We dove a wreck called Sea Hag. Sea Hag is an old wooden sailing ship in about 85 feet of water.

I lived on the island year round for a while, I would wonder what it was like 150 years ago to stand on the beach and see a wrecked ship out on the shoals. Must have been a sight to see. Spooky.

5:00 That is Not a Sea Robin is it? I've caught them, so I know what they look like. Just a quick glance at this guy made me think of them. What is it please? Amazing visibility too btw!!

Yes, that is a Sea Robin. They walk on the bottom using the claw-like fins.

Yes, I have found coins and bottles on wrecks. No sea glass.
