The women wear black wet suits for the same reason Mike always uses a grey wet suit. It's for continuity. They use a lot of stock footage that gets reused for different episodes. They can splice in any underwater sequence in any episode. All the guest star women look pretty much the same. They can move things around without too much trouble.

I have always enjoyed this series.I have always wondered is how can a female diver wearing a wet suit hood emerge from the water removing their hood with dry hair? The only answer I can think of is the actress is sprayed with water to simulate of being underwater while using a stuns diver underwater.

While watching these episodes on and off through the years Ive wondered why they never had Mike hook up with one of these many babes as a regular girlfriend who would be featured on multiple episodes. Of course this is the early 1960s and women were for the most part seldom included as heroins .

Loyd like few others wanted to do clean wholesome characters! I For one am glad he did! Sick of having the slutty disgusting foul plots slammed in my face and our children’s face! As you can see no foul behavior other then good guys vs bad guys and no foul language! I call that perfection and all that is not necessary for a great series!
