Floating on water gives you almost the same freedom as flying. Congratulations on what you do!

Thanks for your kind comments. Yes, that is a perfect analogy as I used to fly a paraglider and a paramotor all fabulous ways of seeing the landscape and wildlife. I now fly a drone for aerial footage which I take in my boat on our sea kayaking trips and expeditions to supplement views in my video's. I'm pleased you are enjoying the video's 👍👍😀

I enjoyed watching you paddle alongside the group toward the back, then surfing past everybody. That looks fun. I’m still learning to paddle in the wind like that.

Thanks Aaron, yeah I love surfing when it gets a bit sporting and it's even better when you shoot past your mates !! 😂😂

Car parking issues so that was an easier solution.

That looked like a fun carry at the end of the trip!

It wasn't that bad Ian, we oldies just make it look worse after being sat in the boat a while 😂😉 we actually launched at the other side of the beck as car parking is restricted but couldn't be bothered driving round to retrieve. Thanks for your comments. 👍

my friend, great adventure! what Brand is the brown and white boat?. what brand is the blue and white? thank you, chris
@geoffburke2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, thanks for your comments, it was a great trip in strong winds. The blue boat is a Rockpool Isel and the white boat is a Northshore Ocean in clear carbon kevlar lay-up one of the last Northshore boats made by the designer Mike Nelson.

Really like the vid, but, I'd rather hear the natural sounds of wind and surf as well as the conversations as they evolve. Kayak videos seam to have the worst crap music.

Thanks for your comments Keith. With regard to producing any Kayaking video it's impossible to control and capture all the elements you'd like to hear when filming as well as enjoying kayaking. What you prefer is your own taste, as it is with everyone and were all different, with different tastes. I enjoy my kayaking but also spend a great deal of my time trying to produce video's to inspire people into a sport that they too can enjoy. I've thought of introducing voice over narration which will be even more time consuming and costly for equipment and notice your avatar is a microphone but when I check your channel I can see in the 8 years you've been on KZbin you've not produced a single video that I can emulate. Constructive criticism is very much a thing of perspective. Thanks anyway 👍

@@geoffburke You're absolutely right. It's so easy to be an armchair critic. Being someone who worked a lifetime in the music business, who has also worked in film and stints as a video editor there is really no excuse, especially since I have all the professional production equipment at my finger tips. It's something I promised myself I would do once I retired-- well I recently retired so I better get off my a___! p.s. Still not an excuse, but kayaking sure provides a great distraction over editing on a computer. p.p.s. I checked your channel and did not realize that I have inadvertently watched many of your videos-- you now have an additional sub.

@@keithmoriyama5421 Thanks once again for your comments and subscribing, unlike you I'm only just getting started with video editing so a big learning curve going on and lots more to learn...cheers! 😉👍
