Give me a break. You forget who raised this generation of parents. The truth is that parents of every generation had done stupid things while raising their kids (like letting young kids drive a car while on parent’s lap, or left them alone at home at young age bc it was “normal”, etc) the only difference is that now everything you do is on social media. Also, back then there wasn’t this crazy need to capture and post everything you do or see bc technology wasn’t readily available. So, parents back then would probably tell a kid to move away from the animal. I just get sick to my stomach when I hear an animal has to be put down due to humans stupidity.

Sea Lions are Carnivores. Related to dogs and wolves and cats and the big cats. They have teeth. They can get very testy. They can move faster than most people realize. These are wild animals. Please please please respect their space! They can be very tolerant of people but not if they feel crowded.
