The optical illusion doesn't f**ing work from their angle, I seriously fail to grasp how there are millions of people out there who don't get that. These idiotic videos shouldn't be a thing at all.

Haven't seen the full video, but for instance, the first rug was placed the other way around - facing the camera instead the animals which completely missed the point and didn't look right from the other side. But other than that, cats and dogs are lower than us, so they also see the rug from a lower point than we do. In order for an optical illusion like that to work, you need to look at it from a specific angle. You stand on the other side, lower or higher, it's going to mess up the purpose of it. For a cat, that rug just probably looked like a random blob. If you ever come across an optical illusion like that on the floor, just crouch in front of it. It won't have any effect anymore. It's kinda like drawing a doll on a piece of paper, cutting it out and then thinking why it's flat when you turn it to the side. This video is just for looks, it doesn't test anything

At the beginning, you do have it faced so the camera can see the illusion, but you have the animals entering a door coming from the opposite direction so it's really not going to trick anyone that way.

but in fact, no animal saw thos illusion... iluusion are made for human, caus of the angle and the perspective we have. Dog and cat are not as taller as us, so the illusion dont work for them.... the only things that was making their reaction weird, was their master, acting like being dumb, an d the new rug, nothing about the illusion, but just conditionment....

@@MoonSoon24 как показали исследования, из всех этих иллюзий кошки воспринимают только внешние контуры нарисованных объектов, т.к. это связано с навыками охоты, которую кошки обычно ведут из укрытия. В частности, если на полу нарисован квадрат, то кошка охотнее всего сядет внутрь, как будто в настоящую коробку. Отсвечивание же тут вообще ни при чём.
