Sorry to say but that's mosquito larva, they hang out at the surface and jump around sane way those are and look similar to a sea monkey but sea monkeys only thrive in salt water, that's why when you buy the kit they come with a packet to add to the water before adding the eggs it's a saltwater powder to help them thrive. These are things you don't want your pets drinking..

Sweetie , it prob is a parasite, and not good for the dogs , they are prob Water mites. dont know it for sure but pls be careful , we had to take oure dog to the vet and she was very sick of drinking water from a pool with parasites❤Big hugsss from the Netherlands Miranda 🥰

Aww sweetie those are Def not sea monkeys they are as we old people call them water mites and are very harmful to humans and animals 😢

Havent read the thread but I think these are water fleas.... Daphnia is a genus of small planktonic crustaceans, 0.2-6.0 mm (0.01-0.24 in) in length. Daphnia are members of the order Anomopoda, and are one of the several small aquatic crustaceans commonly called water fleas because their saltatory swimming style resembles the movements of fleas.

okay you can show them plants on your land well different kinds growing and the different rocks and the different bugs and animals you may see in the woods maybe set up a tent and have a outdoor camping experience with the kids on a weekend i did that with the girl guides the kids would like this and roast marshmellows and hot dogs thats always good for the kids to learn science stuff

Hi Miss Holly they are Daphnia (no, not the chicken from Scooby-Doo) aka water fleas. I breed bettas and they are a food I feed them. Sea Monkeys aka Artemia need brackish salt water to survive. My bettas love those too. The Daphnia won't hurt the dogs, cats or their hoomans. But there are forms of bacteria in the water that will give the dogs, cats & you (if you so choose 😉) the runs, Hershey squirts, the thunder from down under, the trots or the hot trots if you had Mexican food. i looked on internet frogs and brime shrimp can live together in the wild okay this is science class okay nothing to be scared of im old know so is my brother show the kids wear you live and maybe get a fish net if you like and people are puting frogs and brim shrimp and fish in aquariums as well okay you be the science teacher and show the kids and if you doing science for the kids

They are probably scud. Sea monkeys are man made and cannot reproduce. They are genetically modified brine shrimp that last only a few days. There is so many different species of bugs in a small body of water and scud eat algae and frogs and fish eat them. Just look under aquatic bugs found in a small pond and you can maybe identify your c monkey.🤷🏼‍♀️ God Bless keep on keeping on love y’all ❤️👵🏻
