Metal covers of this are so appropriate. The composer, Eric W Brown, is an absolutely sick metal drummer-Nekrogoblicon, Vale of Pnath, Swashbuckle.

I'm a huge metalhead and an occasional composer; Eric definitely wears his metal influences on his sleeve in both The Messenger and SoS. The metal nods are always readily found in both soundtracks. Super evidently in The Messenger, but I just LOVE how he managed to get them through the SoS soundtrack despite the game being much less appropriate for it. A fucking genius he is. Hope to hear a lot more from him in the future.

Wow, you guys jumped on that quick. As usual you guys absolutely crushed this track. I played the demo, bought the game when it dropped, probably going to start on it either this evening or tomorrow but wasn't expecting anyone to cover anything from it already. Really looking forward to properly getting into it because of it's old school Chrono Trigger/Secret of Mana vibes.

Everytime I hear a absolute bop of a battle/boss theme, I'm always looking forward to the metal covers because I know they'll slap.
