Firstly, I wanna say thank you! I've been binge watching your videos for about 2 hours now and they're extremely helpful. Me and a group of friends started playing Sea of Thieves about 2 days ago and don't really know much about the game. These videos have been super helpful in learning and understanding the game and its mechanics. I love how your videos are straight to the point, no needless dragging out of random things and not having to watch 5 minutes before the actual video starts. One question I did have - I saw a video of you explaining the flintlock, but couldn't find anything regarding the blunderbuss or the sniper. I know the flintlock is your weapon of choice, but is there a chance of a video covering the other weapons as well? Would love to know about the uses of the blunderbuss and sniper, effectiveness, range, bullet drop, aiming, etc. Definitely keep up the good work! The videos are awesome, the quality is great and you're entertaining. Best wishes for the future!

As for the ranged weapons, I usually make guides that I'm capable of making so you can benefit, which is my weapons of choice, the flintlock. But I will surely work on something regarding the eye of reach, and after that I'll address the blunderbuss. So to beat a Galleon you have to be really fast on your feet as even though there is more crew, the ship itself wont be able to keep up. And of course playing it smart and have good aim and all that is needed

Before I watch this video let me make a guess: The conclusion will be that you can but only if the galleon crew has no idea what they are doing and/or terribly mess up. edit: Well there was no conclusion in the end, so its up to interpretation. Amazing gameplan. Honestly that anchorball and those chainshots were auch a pleasure to watch, but if they would have just stayed on their ship instead of sending 2 boarders that both missed they could have just re-raised the anchor within seconds and from that point on just circle without sails. A sloop with the one cannon it has can simply not deal enough damage to sink a repairing galleon even with just 3 people on board(in my opinion). From my experience, the only reliable way to sink a galleon as a sloop is to use a well times weight ball(or however thats called) while hoping they were lazy and didnt repair their middle deck.

For the anchor / revive choice: I think its a better idea to revive your ally in this situation, they cant shoot you, they cant join you, one is dead, and after your mate is revived, he can help you to raise the anchor. Is there another downside to this choice i didnt think about ? (maybye is another ennemie is in the water, close to your ship) Very good video btw ! :)

Great video! Just a quick question: I saw you firing cannon balls through waves and I was never sure about this, but do cannonballs fly through water/ waves to hit the enemy? And if so is it a good idea to aim below the waterline to cause damage in the lower deck?

They most certainly do! Getting holes in both decks of a gally and then hitting them with a ballast ball is a good sudden surprise! Suddenly two decks are sprouting water

it is a good idea to shoot the bottom deck especially on the galleon but you also gotta be careful because if they aren't sinking quickly enough they may fire back so it may be smart to shoot at the cannoneers especially on a sloop or brig. this is also why it's smart to circle around ships while firing which somewhat prevents boards, spreads out the holes around the shop, and makes it harder to shoot you. staying behind or in front of a ship also does the trick but makes it easier for boarders to get on and doesn't spread out the damage (which may be good or bad)

One of my favorite times when I sunk a galilean was when the galilean was doing a fort and I had snuck aboard after they had sunk me and when they left there ship I set it on fire on the bottom of the ship so they didn't see the fire so by the time they realized what had happened it was to late (this crew didn't repair the holes that were just below deck, so when the water reached the top of the second stairs the ship may as well have been scuttled.)

You have to block and a moment later sword lunge. This allows you to jump while lunging. Hope this helped :)

Haha my brother and I managed to down a fully manned galleon (with reaper grade 5 too) in a sloop, just after a battle with the skeleton galleon; we only had 14 cannonballs, after they were all spent we rammed them, used the harpoon to reel us as close as possible so we slid along their side, then one of us boarded while the other worked on repairs, by some stroke of luck I managed to kill 3 of them while my brother killed the 4th who boarded us, and their ship was full of holes sinking fast, they never managed to respawn. Thanks to that we got a full restock on cannonballs, wood and food too, all of which we were practically empty on. It was a very fast battle, but man if it didn't feel good, one of the top crews on the server with reaper grade 5 and a fully manned galleon, trashed by a little 2 man sloop. It was our most successful run in the game yet, after this we found another sloop docking at an outpost, who turned tail and ran as soon as we got near them, after chasing them my brother's cannonball somehow shot right into one of the guys who happened to be holding a stronghold barrel, both died, and out, then we found out that they had loot from 4 skeleton fortresses; we cashed everything in at the reapers and made well over 200k in gold, a nice bonus to getting our emissary grade to 5. We sunk another few sloops inbetween these 2 but nothing particularly noteworthy. When we decided it was time to end it we set sail one last time since we had so many resources left over from that galleon :'D sank a sloop, then got sank by a fully manned brig who had eerily accurate cannoneers (it was like every other cannonball would shoot right into one of our faces, even when they shouldn't have a clear view of us), they either had an aimbot, or they had someone like phuzzy, either way, we stood no chance against them. But it was just the battle we were looking for so it still counts as a win :D

sinking a galleon is easy get a athena or stronghold keg on their bottom deck explode it the hard part is getting close enougth or getting the keg

So I think I got it down but how do you win a fight This is what I do but I’m bad so it sometimes doesn’t work Shoot em a couple times If we r damaged my team will keep bucketing or try and hit them with a ball that locks barrels We wait for them to stop shooting and restock cannon balls and use that to fire at them then try to shoot One of us will board to stop them from repairing and firebomb them for more chaos then try to drive them into an island They then sink
