Extended fights between one crew and another are the most intense and fun thing in this game IMO. I had one session where my friend and I lost our loot and we came back found the guy who took it, sank him and got it back, was a great feeling! Also had a session where we sunk a sloop and got some loot and the original sloop sunk us and won it back, great games.

You know a thing a two about crashing don't you Mr.Bond? Now now, let's settle down and take all the mistakes these guys made with their sniper plays: 1. Long range with no 1 shots: If you plan to go longrange, with the sniper, make sure you have a backup. Sword is not a long range weapon. 2. Prediction: They could've exploded Phuzzy twice. and they noticed him both times. Also, they missed some very easy shots. Of course, we all miss shots, we either hurry them, or hold them for too long. Make sure to go over the 3 steps of aim: FInd target, See which way they are going, shoot. Phuzzy does this a lot, and he shoots people mid air. The reason for this is that when someone jumps, they can't change their path. They are in a straight line, easy shot. 3. Close quaters: If for some ungodly reason, you bring your rifle into a knife fight, make sure to open with your closerange options. People love to dodge in this game, they just do it all the time. Wait for your shot there, or close the distance with your first shot. In water, the sniper can be amazing. They are slow and can't do anything about you. And if you have a pistol in that situation, you'll shoot em down. I'm not here to promote double gunning, I'm here to promote a playstyle. I like being far away from danger, and keep my crew and the ship in check with my guns. But for example a sword and pistol can and will compete with me, and if they get close enough. My job is to keep them away. If you are looking for a style that needs you think ahead of your enemies, then this might be one for you.

You can air strafe in Sea of Theives, I use it all the time when going from top to bottom deck on a sloop. Lots of people think you cant so often you can hit them mid air. Also the bullet speed is faster than you can move mid air, so you often get hit.

I will politely disagree with your 1st and 3rd points. The 1st point on saying the sword is not a long range weapon is true, but if you have a sniper you want to deal with enemies in your face or flirting the distance between close and medium range. Another gun can do the job but leaves you defenceless against sword storm. 3rd as you can learn to use the sniper in close range but you have to practice on quick scoping point blank, however if you use another gun you may not need to get perfect with it. Personally I go sword and sniper and use the sword as defence and utility, such as the jump techniques as well as always having a weapon handy. Sniper fits for damage outside of melee range with respectable damage, at the cost of sometimes needing more than a few shots in pvp.

Well, yes... I did take it more or less in a general sense, than in a SoT. This may be the aftermath of my lack of experience with SoT and more time spent with other games and their bolt action beauties. The first point is more like a playstyle, rather than anything. I imagine that most people after getting shot by your rifle, and seeing you pull out your pistol would be somewhat scared. One may try to jump around, and heal, to which you shall respond with my second point, or be agressive, at which point no scope pistol is your best option, when he is close enough. In the case of missing your follow up, you'll need to reconsider your position. Is the enemy coming at me? Yes. (probably did not heal) Do I have time to reload? Yes. Go for it. No? Run. Is the enemy coming at me? No. (probably healing) Still reload, but you can either hold your ground, or jump twords them. This may give the sword user a false sense of being in a better position, but you can only really pull this off if they are still within pistol 1 shot range. This is why you always try to make out what type of food they ate, and how much damage they took. As for quickscopes, I think you aswered that yourself. As somebody coming from TF2 and such, hitting a headshot at close range is the only for me to survive. Or at least that's what I've learned. So if I have a backup option, I will use it to avoid needing a quickscope. Plus I'm more of the "oldschool" sniper type of guy, who likes to keep his opponent far away. But SoT quickscopes and sniping is not like what I'm used to, heck, even the gunplay. And I don't really like how it lacks precision. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that in SoT it's really easy to hit your targets, but with no limiting factors on jumps and dealing the same damage on the whole body, you can feel free to aim for the center of the mass 100% of the time. I personally prefer CS:GO's gunplay, even if I feel like I can't hit my shots in that game. The mighty AWP to me, is THE sniper rifle. It's loud, bolt action and terrifying. You gable your life exposing yourself to this beast, and some do anyways. But when somebody get close up and personal, you only have 1 chance at your noscope, or quickscope even. And it doesn't have to be shutgun range to take you down either. But all and all, I agree with you. I feel like you've played this games PVP part a lot more than I did, and I'm fairly certain that you know SoT sniping more than I do. But as I've mentioned at the end, this is a playstyle, optimesed to what I like to do. Pew pew form far away. Sorry for the novel, I tend to get a little wordy.

I've never understood these "bot" callers anyway. Like, if you find the cutlass is superior, just use it yourself? But these guys were "sword spamming" themselves, so why they insult others as bots? I also find it funny how most double-gunners cry over sword-users, but they actually exploit the game to get rid of the weapon delay, I find that's cheating, but to them its "skills". These players are just childish and toxic, they are sore losers, but even if they win, they be salty and be sore winners instead. Good video Phuzzy!
