Thank you so much! The year is 2021, I am from a Government-funded university (lesser funds and opportunities to have labs like these) but you have done great help so far! Thank you so much! God bless you!

Hey thank you very much. I have a biology lab practical exam over echinoderms, mollusks, arthropoda, and chordata, and I'm sure I will have to identify something on Echinoderm anatomy. This helped me study!

Every time I watch one of these amazing videos the comment section is filled with complaints about the lack of gloves. Why waste gloves when you don't have to? Most of the animals are preserved in alcohol so calm down people.

Agreed. Also, why does everyone comment on the way she pronounces "mouth"? I don't hear any accent or regional dialect whatsoever. It sounds the same way I've ever heard anyone else on t.v. or in the movies pronounce it.

We wouldn't have made the advancements we have over the years w/o conducting these experiments. It's thanks to these advancements that we're able to have new kinds of medicine or procedures done, increasing our survival rate and also finding new and better survival rates for these kind of organisms.

your talking about legit science, this is petty internet video science it means nothing and it kills animals for no reason other then to make a video. real science is fine. we gain from it exactly like you said. but this was not real science

@@tjhall1000 Your heart is in the right place, but I disagree. It's educational. Not all zoology can be learned by reading a text. Of course it's unfortunate that this sea star died, but how many marine conservationists can learn from a single video? I'm not a scientist, but found this video simply because I was curious about starfish anatomy. I think there's value in educating the general public as well.
