Sea Swirl For My Return Why Not? Old School Random Flow

For years a Sea Swirl was the best way to add random flow to a reef tank. Is it still something to consider for a modern tank?

I use a 1" sea swirl for my return and i put a random flow generator on it. it works very well you should try it out. good video
