The Department of Justice’s staff celebration of Irish Language Week was held in the headquarters of the Department in 51 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, at lunchtime on Wednesday 6 March 2024. The event featured original music, film, song and poetry - as well as dancing! - by members of staff, and by a guest musician, in addition to the video-presentation on ‘The meaning and source of the Irish name of the Department of Justice, An Roinn Dlí agus Cirt’.
The following table of contents gives the order of the various pieces in the video:
• An original composition by Dylan Curran, The Grianán of Aileach, performed by Dylan and accompanied by Eoin Carty (2.33 mins into the video)
