Thanks for the video, we had stripped our engine down already and had to jam a hammer handle beside the crank. Strapped it vertically to a trailer with the base attached, PTO wheel up top. Lots of heat out of a torch on the PTO, and used a big impact gun with the impeller tool. (Used some penetrant the day before too, but the heat was the key!) Took a couple tries with the impact but finally broke free without damage or injury to anyone. Happy to get it off without incident.

I laid my block sideways on my flat bed trailer, put a 2x6 across the block and spanning from trailer rail to rail. This held it nicely while I took off the pro. Also considered putting it in the ground with a 2x12 ramping up the block and pulling my truck up slightly on the end of board to hold it downn

I used the monster Milwaukee impact gun on mine. We used lots of heat out of a MAP tank, it finally spun off.

Have removed literally 100s of them. I have always laid the motor sideways on a concrete floor. Heat the threads if necessary. Used breaker bar and one stomp with a boot and it pops loose. Same with any other PTO or coupler.. Yamaha, Kawasaki, Polaris Etc.
