How do you check the oil on a 1999 Sea-Doo Limited GXT

It's a 2 stroke so its not like it has a dipstick, the jug that holds the oil is semi transparent and you can see how much is in it. Burning a full tank of gas will probably burn about 1/4 of the jug (estimated).

Where is this located? If it’s low how do you add oil?

Popped a new compass in. Does not work

I have this exact problem on a 1997 I just picked up. If I take off the compass now will it still work or is it too late?

All I know is I had two with the same fault , not at the same time , but as far as it goes .. the first ski I left the gps in for too long and was permanently damaged over time ignoring the fault. The other one I realized the same thing was happening and then discovered the gos issue causing it, I then disconnected it and was fine after that .. then I did tests between the skis and it had definitively destroyed the speedo gauge on the first ski ..

I put the new speed sensor on the new mph clock and it does not show the speed

Check the physical paddle wheel on the back of the ski on the ride plate, if that is broken it will not show the speed

Did your hours come back very helpfull I found holding mode an set multiple times on diffent display modes stoped the low oil low bat hi temp an warning light an compus now works an reads correct but my hours show 000 it had 32 hours showing b4 the problem
