I had one and liked it but to me it was a little twitchy with my wife and dog aboard. I sold it and bought the Fastrack 465 and love it. My wife can even lay sideways on it and I know it's not going to tip.

Hi, I am super interested in this canoe specifically because I live in a camper van and my old town canoe was stolen in London last summer. I used my old town for touring the water ways in England and to fly fishing or just regular fishing. Is it possible for me to fish from this canoe or isn’t recommended, and is possible to take my dog on my touring adventures in the canoe? Thank you for your time

The Sea Eagle TC16 inflatable Travel Canoe is fished by many. Many Sea Eagle-ers also bring along their pets and you should have not issues. It's a favorite for campers, RV-ers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

However, one thing to consider is direct heat. Placing a mat between your vehicle's roof and the TC16 will help. Also, remember the roof of your vehicle can get extremely hot in direct sunlight. Be sure to look for areas of shade when parking and not to leave the TC16 up there for an extended amount of time. Some additional tips are to use bow and stern lines in addition to over-the-top tie-down straps and be sure your roof rack is sufficient for such transport and/or use the around-the-roof with straps technique.
