We will be making our crab boil for the 4th of July. I have 2 large crab boil pots I use for just this. I do put Yukon gold baby potatoes in mine, along with shrimp, polish sausage, corn, clams and of course the crab legs. My favorite is the Dungeness crabs and the Alaska snow crabs, so that's what I use. I line a table with newspapers and dump the drained food right down the center. Yummy! Those legs you have there, instead of the scissors, just bend and snap them gently and the meat will come out in one piece. For the claws and that 1st big leg part, we use nut crackers. I also put a few small hammers on the table because some claws are so thick it's the only way to start them, lol. You need to do a family nite muckbang, lol Gave you 👍👍🇺🇲👍👍

So enjoyed watching your seafood boil dinner this morning. Yesterday, my Memorial Day began with laying a wreath as Regent of my DAR Chapter in Morgantown, WV on the Courthouse Square for the ceremony at 11:00. Then I moved to Morgantown High School for their program which always honors the 18 graduates killed in VietNam. Finally, I drove about 26 miles south to Fairmont where the West Virginia Daughters of the American Revolution dedicated a plaque to the Gold Star Mothers and again participated in a wreath laying for that monument. I arrived back home after 6 with a pizza from Cici's. A great Memorial Day, but a tiring one. After a shower, I had pizza and my cat had his dinner. He was disappointed when I told him he was in for the night--after being outside all day.
