Wow great recipe. Would a smoked sausage work in lieu of the crab meat? I am asking because crab meat is so expensive right now. I just looked yesterday due to hubby craving 🦀 cakes. We live in 🦀 area and prices are 2 1/2 times more than I have ever paid. 😪

If you cook or start the bacon in the oven before seasoning or cooking the shrimp it will when you are ready to fry the peppers, the bacon will produce the oil to fry the peppers. Just FYI. I usually cook bacon in the oven and save the grease in a glass bowl and use to fry my eggs and give bacon flavor.

I purchased your seasonings when they first came out and I've used 2 of them twice. So I made this recipe today and dh tells me that it's a keeper. Followed the directions as given and was also pleased with the dish. Now I need the find the recipe that caused me to purchase the spices. My only concerns are we are planning to leave the country next year and once your spices run out I will not be able to make the newer recipes.

With this many combine seasoning you use in this rice sea food what about salt in this seasoning which a lot and you put every layers one this food and at end you agin ad to boiling water for booking a rice , I can’t Magine how much salt in this food is I think they will kill everyone unless your seasoning does not have a salt at all , can you respond please??

Great question: No not at all. U can add a ton of seasonings, once the seasoning is salt free or low sodium. Personally I don’t appreciate a lot of salt in my meals.
