Love the 3D effect of the new one! Also the size. Just a shame these are like $500 compared to the unofficial 1963s, and no display caseback

The unofficial ones came first, and has movements (and most of their parts for the earlier models) from Seagull itself. The "official" Tianjin Seagull models only came out because of how popular the unofficials became. The 40mm size is nice though. Keeps the vintage looks of the model (unlike the 42mm "fatties" that look wrong) and the larger size accommodates a sapphire crystal better than 38mm.

Very nice, with a preference for the 38mm (the 40mm dial has a "squint" with its 2 subs dials) I'm a beginner on chronographs, so i'm search for such Non Working ST19 chronographs in France at about 40-50 (shipping included)

The package is very luxurious. The diameter of 40 mm is good, but the most important is Lug to lug dimension.

it seems to be a classical "Incabloc" shock protection system for the balance (does it work ?) otherwise, ... it is comparable (but not equal) to a venus 175
