If you want to do some serious pylon racing with the Cassutt 3M, stick a DLE 60 in it. As they do in Oz, - for the F1 class, National Air Racing. Cheers

What a plane! What a landing! I’d love to see what this thing can do on a calmer day now that the maiden is over. Definitely worth a revisit!

There was a guy here by me that has built one of these and would go tearing around the skies in preparation for racing at Reno... and yes the real thing... Not the model!! The real plane uses a 4 cyl 100hp engine and is surprisingly small and fast!! Cool video!

Love a balsa plane skinned in Oracover. I believe thats what my Bighorn has on it, and it looks fantastic. Great landing, those winds were making some noise.

Nice flyning😊, have one. But not build finish yet, have Mounted Hitec HS-5685MH servos in model. Is good? Have plan to run OS FS155A glow some have. Hope is good engine for Cassutt.

Hey, did you use the manual recommended CG of 120mm? A friend of mine is getting ready to maiden his and was wondering.
@RCPlaneReviewer2 жыл бұрын
I did but I felt like it needed 3-4 Oz more on the nose
@skyterrapin10 ай бұрын
This is actually a 50 to 60cc class model.
@chrisvernon76082 жыл бұрын
did you have to add any weight in the nose ??? trying to decide on this or the RV8 for my DLE 20
@RCPlaneReviewer2 жыл бұрын
The rv8 calls for a 30cc and this plane really needs a DLE 35cc 20cc was barely enough and it needs the weigh badly
@chrisvernon76082 жыл бұрын
@@RCPlaneReviewer Strange when you look on the Seagull web page both models call for a 20 to 26cc engine
