Mikes McDonald defense mirrors last years Baltimore Ravens defense. Last year, Baltimore ranked 28th for the first 8 weeks and then turned it around and ranking 2nd. Same thing goes for this years Seahawks, ranking 29th. Now ranking 2nd for the past 4 weeks. December football, stack up the wins, every game is a playoff game. Next Sunday night will be a true test against the Packers.

And the past 2 weeks, his BEST BETS were Jets over Hawks and Zona over Hawks. All NFL games and always against Seattle. That's when I knew we were going to win!

I like how everyone's perspective is that we have been 100% all year. We have been evolving all year, but everyone keeps evaluating us in a 2 dimensional way. Mike inherited a roster. He has been testing out parts and replacing pieces as he goes. It's like a person bought a car to restore, but for some reason has to race it weekly. Every week they fix a different system or area. Why would anyone expect that vehicle to operate exactly the same week to week? This type of evaluation is stupid!!! Brand new head coach, new crew of coaches, new system.... Is that so hard to understand? I hated losing, but those loses were essential to find the broken pieces. This entire season is a win, regardless of if we make it to the playoffs or not!

Definitely. It also wasn't just the "magic" of things finally clicking after the bye...it was literally the first time since week 1 that all our key players were healthy and playing together. Continuity and rapport matters.

@@criskatan That was an awful loss! Best thing we can take out of that is a lesson, if not several. Literally puts a bad taste in my mouth 🤮 So, we played our hearts out at the Lions. It was a loss, but a good loss. Then we had a short week after that to see the Giants. The Giants had 10 days to prepare for us, while we were beat up by the Lions. That's the best excuse I have. But we have been steadily improving across the year. With a guy who was never a head coach before & a load of new coaches! I am ecstatic with my team and coach!!!

If the Seahawks are at home for even one playoff game, I really think that other team should be scared. Seahawks haven't had a home playoff game since all the way back in January of 2021. I'm telling you, we might see some significant noise cuz the 12s will be ready for that one.
