I've watched this 20 times and get tears every time. As a Hawks fan, I flew my son from our home in SF up to Seattle to be at the CLINK for this game. What a special memory. I was also in the Kingdome when Edgar hit his double in '95 -- wish we had the same memories of that night as you compiled here. THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS TOGETHER.

Got to be one of the greatest compilations of all time. This brings tears to my eyes watching when the play happens, watching as families and friends realize what happened and then running around looking for someone to hug. One guy did the long way around the coffee table looking for someone because the moment is that special. Its the comraderie, the brotherhood; The Seahawk Brotherhood!!

I have to say Seahawks fans had the right to celebrate. After many years of disappointment they made it and won the Super Bowl! 49ers fans I'm sorry to say this. I really learned that in 95 when it seemed like every week was a last minute win or a last minute loss, or in 90 with the Dave Krieg vs Derrick Thomas win, then the next week losing to the Vikings on a dropped pass. this team has given so many ups and downs. A lot of them were in this game!I just love this team!

We have struggled so many times making us a better stronger team. I didn't care honestly if we Won or not. I could picture how this year would go...and we worked hard and still get no results. Something is fishy extremely fishy about these losses, and yes I know we lost to Seattle we got our asses!!! handled to us. Seattle is the better team I can honestly say at the moment, but at the same time they never went through what out team had to suffer. Making us a more Stronger faithful team. 49ers

That game was the Super Bowl. Lots of times the NFC or AFC championship game IS the Super Bowl because the NFC/AFC opponent in the actual Super Bowl is garbage, like the Broncos, and the SB turns into one of those college bowl games where one team is overmatched and it's a 56-7 blowout. Many more good NFC/AFC championship games than Super Bowls in all of NFL history.

That 5 yard running into the kicker penalty changed the momentum of the game. The entire planet knows it was a personal foul (15 yarder)! Niners were winning and would've had first down at midfield but homer refs were too chickenbleep to make the easy call. Niners clearly outplayed SEA most of the game. Niners win easy on neutral field.
