I never thought that a rookie would end up being my favorite player of all time until today, they really don't make players like Devon Witherspoon anymore. This guy is the best cornerback in the NFL, and im super excited to see how much better he'll be in his sophomore season. Spoon and Jaxon Smith-Njigba have the brightest futures and i can't wait to see them become multi-time superbowl champions in the very near future 💯 #HawksForever💙💚

The two Rams games and the unexplainable loss to the Steelers cost us and Pete. Why did we tackle so badly against the Steelersa. Rudolph was the QB, commit to the tackle and wrap up just like you saw Devon do against the GREAT Connor. I have been a Hawks fan since 1976, and Connor deserves respect.

It's too bad he won't have the best secondary coach of all time (Pete Carroll) to help reach his full potential. Like he did with 5th round pick and ALL-PRO Sherman 4th round pick and ALL-PRO Kam Chancellor undrafted homeless man Brandon Browner into a Pro Bowl player. Earl Thomas was a first rounder but a very raw first rounder. Carroll transformed him into a focused ball punching Gronk destroyer. Now we have Witherspoon and Woolen who are very young but ahead of the curve. Jody made a mistake firing Pete.
